About 3 weeks ago one of my regular callers to my show OnLine with Bill Alexander called me analog, because I was not familiar with a certain website.  I know I may be 40 years old and I always thought I was hip (just using that word I now feel old).  I know when Justine called me analog she was just kidding me.  But I think she was right.

What brought me to the above realization happened yesterday.  I had a few moments during my lunch and checked out the site www.SomethingToBeDesired.com.  When most people my age think of “OnLine” video we think of  YouTube, Google Video or Revver (I know of Revver because of Justine).  So when I came to the STBD website I was surprised,  first off I didn’t realize it was an actual video sitcom or should I call it an “OnLine” Sitcom.  I clicked on the “first” link and saw a video explaining to me what STBD was.  After watching it I was hooked.  The program is dealing with a group of 20 somethings working at WANT a struggling FM station.  I love anything that deals with radio as most of you probably know, because I have worked at many struggling AM and FM radios, come to think of it aren’t they all struggling? 

You could compare this program to WKRP and News Radio just to name two.  From watching the first 3 episodes of season 4, I am hooked.  I would like to publically commend the cast and the crew for a job well done and am looking forward to the new episode being added March 26th.  So now when I am not doing my show or at work I will be watching past episodes so I can be ready for the new episodes. 

In the “first time” video one of the actress states that “STBD is like Friends…Only Funny.”  Let me just say she is right.
